ú    Watkins, Walker & Eroche, Houma, Louisiana - 1965 to present; Partner since 1967. General law practice in South Louisiana, including insurance defense, medical malpractice defense, real estate, loan closing, both commercial and personal, foreclosures for Banks and other Banking law, general corporate law, real estate, wills and successions. Trial experience in District Courts and experience in Appellate Courts.

ú     Judge John T. Hood, Third Circuit Court of Appeal, Lake Charles, Louisiana, law clerk from June, 1964 to June, 1965.  Review of lower court opinions, legal research, preparation of proposed opinions for Judge Hood.

ú    Banking:  Extensive experience in various banking matters, including Foreclosures, Letters of Credit, Commercial loans, UCC Filings, Residential loans, Aircraft financing, Vessel financing.

ú    Real Estate: Experienced in title examination, Approved by Lawyer’s Title Insurance Co., Chicago Title Insurance Co., have closed mortgages for Banks and other Financial Institutions, including FHA, VA, Conventional loan packages.

ú    Insurance Defense:  Handled litigation and settlements of automobile, Workers’ Compensation and  General Liability cases for Fireman’s Fund, Travelers, Cumis, USF&G, Home and Catholic Mutual Insurance Company.

ú Medical Malpractice Defense: Litigation and settlement of malpractice cases for Terrebonne General Medical Center.

ú    Succession and Probate: Have handled succession proceedings, drafted wills, trusts, power of attorneys, living wills, donations.
