Specific to litigation, the law firm is experienced and qualified to litigate in a variety of venues. The majority of the firm's litigation files are handled in the district courts of Southeast Louisiana, and in particular Terrebonne Parish (the 32nd Judicial District Court) and Lafourche Parish (the 17th Judicial District Court. When advisable, the representation of clientele in litigation has included the appellate circuit covering these district courts, the First Circuit Court of Appeal, located in Baton Rouge. The attorneys of the firm are all members of families that have been domiciled in these parishes for generations and are actively involved in community affairs and events. Present and past members of the firm have held elective office at both the parish and state court levels.
